David Fincher

David Fincher is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. His father, Howard Fincher, was a journalist for Life magazine. His mother, Claire Mencken, was a television producer. Fincher’s parents divorced when he was two years old, and he was raised by his mother in San Anselmo, California.

Fincher began his career as a music video director for the band Alien 3D. He later directed videos for George Michael, Madonna, Rolling Stones, and Aerosmith. In 1992, he made his feature film debut with the thriller “Alien 3”. The following year, he directed the critically acclaimed “Se7en”. Fincher has also directed the films “The Game”, “Fight Club”, “Panic Room”, “Zodiac”, and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. He is currently working on a sequel to “Se7en” entitled “Eyes Wide Shut”.
